Learn all about the growing outdoor challenge called geocaching: modern day treasure hunting! We will cover all the basics, including how to get set up to play, the gear you need, the rules, and tips and tricks to start finding geocaches, then will go on a hunt to put our Geocaching skills to the test!

Introduction to Geocaching will begin at the Park Store, Sunset Marina with sample geocaches located throughout the day-use area.
Reservations are recommended for this activity due to limited amounts of equipment and can be made by calling park store staff at 936-365-2201 x2060, or by visiting the park store.

This activity is recommended for ages 8 and up.
We recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable, flat shoes when participating in any activitiy. Restrooms are available at the Headquarters, Activity Center, Marina, and in each camping loop.

Regular park admission fees of $5 per adult ages 13 and up apply; no additional charge for activities.
